Vintage 50s CWU-1/P USAF Coverall Flying Small Flight Suit Sage Green Rayon Wool

$89.95

In the late 50s and early 60s the Navy switched from orange flight suits to the sage green ones mainly because of the start of the Vietnam War. American pilots wanted a green flight suit as to be less visible if shot down over enemy territory. This CWU-1/P flight suit is dated July 18, 1958 and has the early black tag label. This flight suit would be a very unique and still well known piece to add to your collection.
