Alpha Industries is an American clothing manufacturer founded in 1959 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Initially as a contractor to the United States military, the company grew into an international commercial seller of American military style and fashion apparel. Alpha makes items such as flight jackets and vests, and has made jackets for the military of the United States like the M65 Jacket for over half a century!

Measurements taken on a flat surface and unwrinkled:

  • Armpit to Armpit = 23 inches (58 cm) or Chest = 46” (117 cm)
  • Waist measured flat across = 22.5” (57 cm) or waist doubled = 45” (114 cm)
  • Shoulder to Shoulder = 19” (48 cm)
  • Shoulder seam to sleeve cuff = 24” (61 cm)
  • Center back bottom of collar to sleeve cuff = 33.5” (85 cm)
  • Back bottom of neck collar to bottom hem = 28” (71 cm)

Normal wash and wear. A few scattered pin head to pea size faint discolorations on left wrist area and below right chest pocket as seen in photos.
