This Early World War I era horsehide coat was a typical style worn by early aviators. A real original with an outstanding patina, perfectly worn in. Don’t settle for reproductions!

SIZE: No size tags, measurement indicates Size = Mens Small

Measurements taken on a flat surface and unwrinkled:

  • Armpit to Armpit = 21.5 inches (55 cm) or Chest = 43” (109 cm)
  • Waist measured flat across = 20.5” (52 cm) or waist doubled = 41” (104 cm)
  • Shoulder to Shoulder = 17.5” (44 cm)
  • Shoulder seam to sleeve cuff = 25.5” (65 cm)
  • Center back bottom of collar to sleeve cuff = 35” (89 cm)
  • Back bottom of neck collar to bottom hem = 39” (99 cm)

Amazing vintage cracking on the collar, but otherwise the remainder of the coat is in amazing condition. The buttons have been replaced with non-originals, a collector could add original to the era buttons for a true authentic to the time coat.
