This 1946 field overcoat might become one of the heaviest in your collection. Weighing in at a hefty 7 lb 7 oz because it’s got a high quality wool detachable liner to keep you warm at all times. Air defense command with the patch on the left shoulder. Air Defense Command was activated on 21 March 1946 with the former CAF Fourth Air Force, the tbd’s Tenth Air Force, and the tbd’s Fourteenth Air Force.

  • Shoulder seam to sleeve cuff = 25” (64 cm)

Normal overall wear with 1 pin head size hole on right shoulder and a few scattered pin head to pea size discolorations. 1 Pea size repair by the button for the rear vent.
